My paintings are decorative abstract panels. I am inspired by walks along beaches, the figure and very often boats. The viewer may see boats or a part of a dancing figure in my work.

My work is either painted on primed board or canvas glued to board. The oil paint is often heavily worked and the composition is often carried around the wide edges.

I have exhibited my work for twenty-seven years. My paintings have been shown in solo and shared exhibitions in Newmarket, Norwich, Cambridge and London.

I hope my work will open the eyes to a few not familiar with abstract painting. These pictures are colourful, harmonious and restful to live with. I often use colours and tones which are very similar to one another. Because of this my work looks quiet and doesn't arrest your attention or distract you from other thoughts.
